Visiting the Grandparents

Mom's Phlox at sunset
Yesterday we surprised Dad for his birthday. My sister coordinated a surprise taco feast for him. He had been out mowing so he thought nothing of it when Katie showed up, knowing Erica & the girls were already coming over. He started to get suspicious when Amy pulled in. He knew something was up when he saw us in the driveway.

He was pleasantly surprised to see all of his girls and all the grandbabies at one time. After our feast we hung out on the deck were it was nice and cool in the breeze. We pinned the two youngest on the deck while the older kids ran around the yard.

The younger two

I snuck down to the yard and snapped a few pics of the girls playing.

The older girls

Then we managed to capture almost all of the kids...Evan wasn't cooperating. Papa wanted a photograph of all of his grandbabies together, which is no easy feat mind you. But even more so especially when a certain 2 year old doesn't want to be in the picture. Hey, when you're warned multiple times and you get scolded by your uncle whom you've never been scolded before it kind of throws you for a loop. He just couldn't believe Uncle Cam told him no. LOL.

All the grandkids

It was a nice evening and all three of us passed out before Daddy had to get up for work.

About Me

My photo
My name is Bobbi. My husband, Adam, and I have been married since September of 2007. We welcomed our daughter, Arabella, on December 31, 2008 and our son, Evan, on February 2, 2010. I'm a stay at home mommy who loves being able to be there for our children. Adam works for a communication company and has been there for ten years now. We are enjoying our time together and our newly expanded family. Things are hectic but all too fun with our Irish twins! I started the blog to keep everyone up to date with our going-ons and to give me a place to blow off steam from time to time. I hope you come back often an take a peek at the pictures I enjoy sharing.
