Family Project {The Leprechaun Trap}

Leprechaun Trap 2015

This month we were given the task of creating a Leprechaun Trap as a family from Arabella's kinder teacher. With input from everyone, and a lot of hot glue I would say Arabella was rather pleased to see her vision come to life. :)

Leprechaun Trap 2015

The "trap" is an "X" cut into the green construction paper under the tissue paper, which was not completely glued down at the end by the treasure. When the Leprechaun walks down the path s/he will fall through the thin tissue paper and into the box.

Supplies Used:

Kleenex Box (the kind with the plastic barrier)
Construction Paper
Scrapbook Paper
Sparkly Tissue Paper
Tooth Picks
Baking Twine
Rhinestones
Beads
Green Glitter Ribbon
Rhinestone Sheets
Gold Bottle Cap
Flexible Straw
Glue Stick
Hot Glue
Scissors
Sharp Knife (for cutting through the construction paper to trap our Leprechaun)

About Me

My photo
My name is Bobbi. My husband, Adam, and I have been married since September of 2007. We welcomed our daughter, Arabella, on December 31, 2008 and our son, Evan, on February 2, 2010. I'm a stay at home mommy who loves being able to be there for our children. Adam works for a communication company and has been there for ten years now. We are enjoying our time together and our newly expanded family. Things are hectic but all too fun with our Irish twins! I started the blog to keep everyone up to date with our going-ons and to give me a place to blow off steam from time to time. I hope you come back often an take a peek at the pictures I enjoy sharing.
