I needed to water my plants and trees this evening, since we haven't seen rain in who knows when. Of course this means that we must fill the bird bath too. I wonder when she'll admit that we aren't really filling it for the birds?

Big Helper
Bella has been my big helper with the photography scavenger hunt I've been participating in. One item took us to the local motorcycle dealer. And of course she "needs to ride it."

Potty Training... Again
Well, it's officially time to PT kiddo number two. Why I waited so long with him? Because dealing with one kid was easier when learning how to/how not to potty train a child. Now we have the added encouragement of child number one. You know, she thinks she needs to dump the potty, flush the toilet. It's sweet, but unfair to Evan who needs to learn these things as she did. Now, I'm trying to include her in the process as well for support, but me having to clean pee off the bathroom floor isn't what I'd like to be spending my time on, if you know what I mean.
So I'm giving him as much liquid as possible and letting him roam nekid from the waist down (for the most part) and letting him sit on the potty as often as he wants. In the past three hours we've peed four times on the potty. He does a happy dance because his reward is chocolate covered raisins. We've also been through three pull-ups on top of the liquid that's made it in the potty chair.
I guess I'm at a point I'm just tired of changing diapers. I want it to be over, but I'm also sad that my baby, isn't so much a baby. He also seems pretty on board with the game plan. But I mean what male wouldn't like the ability to let things hang out without judgement? :)
So onward we go. Heaven help me as I make it through another round of potty training.

Fun At The Lake
Well...it wasn't so much fun as it was Mommy scouting out stuff for her photography scavenger hunt... I didn't get a picture of what I was after, but rather snapped a few random shots of the kids. Yes, Evan kept trying to run into the lake and Sissy kept trying to drag him back away from it. Not the best shots in the world, but memories none the less. :D

My First Barbie
Arabella, you may laugh at me for sharing this one day, but that's the joy of being your mother.
I begged and pleaded with you while picking out your Barbie. I thought for certain you would go with Cinderella as she's your favorite princess... "CinderBella." No amount of trying or bribing would sway you. I even tried a Cinderella doll and spare dresses, one of which was a poofy gorgeous wedding dress. But you just wouldn't hear of it. You HAD to be the owner of a new "Brave."
You got your wish and today you became the owner of your very first Barbie... Princess Merida.
Funny enough, once we got you home you started exploring your doll while I wasn't watching. I seriously thought you were searching to see if Merida had any undies on. When I discovered your searching, I apparently startled you. Your sheepish response to my "What are you doing?" came as "Looking for her nipples?!?!?!"
Child, you have so much to learn. I love you dearly and pray you never lose that innocence.

First Recital
Yesterday Arabella had her very first recital. It was fun while it lasted. And luckily she didn't throw a fit like she did during dress rehearsal. I have more pictures, but my computer is being wonky right now.

Just another random post
I've not too much to say these days. Just keeping busy with the home, kids and exercise... So, kids I'll apologize now for the lack of posts, but I'm still working on improving me. Today I captured a few random moments and thought you might appreciate it some day.
Bubba must be going through another growth spurt. We can't seem to get enough food in his belly these days...especially blueberries.
Also of note, Evan has thoroughly done everything in his possession to give himself a concussion today. I just want it on record, that should he end up with a brain injury, he understands why. It's not a smart move to dive off of Mommy & Daddy's bed and bash the back of your skull against a hardwood dresser. Nor is it any more pleasant to flop to the ground on your back like you just plunged off a 30 story building whilst throwing a fit. I'm sorry, but you were scolded because you repeatedly chucked the play vacuum as far as you could, and that's just not a game in my book. So, really I don't understand what the fit was about. But now you'll know why you ended up with that future brain injury because apparently you enjoy hurling yourself to the ground.
Thanks to dance class Arabella is improving on her "Look what I can do {Stewart}" moves. Now if we can keep Bubba from running into her while practicing those moves...
And today we kept dropping the "callapitter." Where's my callapitter? Ooops! I dropped my callapitter. Can I have my callapitter in bed? Oye.
Ah kids, gotta love them.

We are enjoying our time together and our newly expanded family. Things are hectic but all too fun with our Irish twins! I started the blog to keep everyone up to date with our going-ons and to give me a place to blow off steam from time to time. I hope you come back often an take a peek at the pictures I enjoy sharing.
