Muffins With Mom

Muffins With Mom 2015

This morning I celebrated Mother's Day with Arabella at her school. She treated me to a gluten free muffin (courtesy of my neighbor), and some orange juice. We read a book, played word search, and watched a slideshow made by the teacher with all the other moms. She has grown this last school year and only a few days remain until she leaves kindergarten.

My "Super Mom" place mat. The reverse side sports a enormous cupcake she drew for me.

A few of the goodies she made for me

My Mother - By Arabella Sharp
  • My mother has blue eyes and brown hair.
  • My mother is 31 years old.
  • My mother is funniest when she reads books.
  • My mother likes to record things.
  • I like it when my mom cooks noodles.
  • I don't like it when my mom cooks salads.
  • When I am good, she gives me candy.
  • When I am naughty, she sends me to my room.
  • My mom is prettiest when she puts on a dress.
  • My mom is so smart, she even knows how to work on the computer.

This is one of the most amusing gifts I've received. It's relatively accurate, although I'm not sure when I cook salads, nor make the kids eat them, and we rarely have noodles. Ha! She wasn't sure on my age so she guessed, not too bad I'd say being I just turned 35. I asked her about the "funniest" statement and apparently she enjoys the enthusiasm I put into my book reading at night.

About Me

My photo
My name is Bobbi. My husband, Adam, and I have been married since September of 2007. We welcomed our daughter, Arabella, on December 31, 2008 and our son, Evan, on February 2, 2010. I'm a stay at home mommy who loves being able to be there for our children. Adam works for a communication company and has been there for ten years now. We are enjoying our time together and our newly expanded family. Things are hectic but all too fun with our Irish twins! I started the blog to keep everyone up to date with our going-ons and to give me a place to blow off steam from time to time. I hope you come back often an take a peek at the pictures I enjoy sharing.
