Long busy weekends

Well I finally have the internet back. Friday our modem went out so I've been unable to access the internet. There's not too much to catch up on. Bella is still taking her meds for her infection and her face is looking better. She's not eating every hours so that's good for me. She does still have some mucous issues and snot sucking is not one of her favorite past times. Adam is getting to feeling better, but we are both lacking in the sleep department. Bella has made a game of keeping me up till the wee hours of the morning again. Last night at 2:30 she decided she wanted to talk to me when we were trying to get her to sleep. I ended up putting her in the swing at 3am and got to sleep until 5:15 when Adam's alarm went off. Then I dozed until ten til 8 when I was supposed to be at my lab appointment at 8 this morning. So needless to say I'm still tired and she's still awake. This weekend I went back to my part-time gig for the first time since November. I worked all weekend and my calves are killing me. I can definitely tell I'm lacking in the exercise department since she's been born. Adam was able to go to the Sunday show so Grandmama got to keep Bella for the first time. It was our first time being away from the baby for an extended period of time. She slept great for Grandmama I guess, but didn't want to sleep when she got home. Whatever will we do with her? Grandmama gets to keep her again the 24th as we are going to attend my banquet for work. I'm being honored for my 5 year anniversary. Yay me! Well, I can't think of much else at this time. Hopefully we can get a nap in before I have to take her for her weigh in this afternoon.

Today's Measurements - 11 pounds 5.4 ounces

About Me

My photo
My name is Bobbi. My husband, Adam, and I have been married since September of 2007. We welcomed our daughter, Arabella, on December 31, 2008 and our son, Evan, on February 2, 2010. I'm a stay at home mommy who loves being able to be there for our children. Adam works for a communication company and has been there for ten years now. We are enjoying our time together and our newly expanded family. Things are hectic but all too fun with our Irish twins! I started the blog to keep everyone up to date with our going-ons and to give me a place to blow off steam from time to time. I hope you come back often an take a peek at the pictures I enjoy sharing.
