27 pounds, 34.25 inches
Today we had Arabella's 24 month check up, early. All is well with our growing little weed. I was actually surprised to hear she had grown. She gained a few ounces and now tops the scale at a whole 27 pounds. However, I'm not sure if she was measured correctly the last time we were at the doctors office (two weeks ago), they said she was up to 33.5 inches tall, but now - two weeks later - she's up to 34.25 inches. I don't think that much growth in that short of time is possible, but who am I to say? Either way she can't wear 12 month pants anymore because they come half way up her shins, so maybe it is possible.
In other growth news, we now have the makings for her first two-year molar. Oh what a joy that has been. On top of her already jagged appetite, she's now very particular with the hardness of her food due to the chewing nature. Poor kid doesn't seem to be able to catch a break.
She has reach and surpassed all of the milestones listed for a 24 month old. She also starting to slide into some of the advanced skills for a 25+ month child. Oh the jabbering...this child is non-stop. Her favorite is to say "Hey Mommy" repeatedly. I answer and she repeats herself. That one is sooooo fun. :x
I just can't believe we're less than 30 days from her second birthday...where does time go? I mean really!?!?
