Happy Hump Day

Yesterday was my birthday. It wasn't anything special, I didn't get cake or ice cream. My parents called and wished me a happy birthday, but that's about it. The night before Adam gave me my present(s). He gave me the fifth season to my favorite series, One Tree Hill. I also got two Jeff Dunham DVD's. I still pouted like a little baby. I'm sick of buying everyone else cakes, but not getting one myself. What's a girl gotta do to get an ice cream cake? I had a lot of well wishers on Face Book so that was cool.

I didn't get to take Bella in for her weigh in because I was running all over the country to get the documentation I needed to renew my license. Leave it to me to wait till the last minute to make sure it's renewed. I needed my birth certificate and I headed to my parents house to search for it. My mom said it could be in two places, neither of which did I find it. I called her, upset that I had driven all the way out there and not found it, and let her know. She called me later that night and said she couldn't find it either. Well, needless to say I headed to the local health department to buy my own copy. Fifteen bucks later I was headed to the License Bureau. After five minutes or so of waiting it was my turn. Just as I got up there, guess who decided it was time to eat? That's right, so we had to go through everything as fast as possible because she was disrupting the whole place. I had my glasses on, which I am NOT required to wear when driving. When I went to take the vision test the lady asked if I drive with them on. I said yes, so now my license has a restriction on it. Not only that but I didn't realize I should have told her I wear contacts sometimes. My receipt, once I reviewed it at home, said "N" to contacts. GREAT! So should I get pulled over who knows what is going to happen. I guess it's not too big a deal because I don't leave the house without one or the other on. I am sort of to the point that I have to wear them to see far away.

To top off my birthday...Adam and I were trying to spend some alone time together and you won't guess who didn't let that happen. No, she decided to wake up every flippin half hour from ten o'clock until one am. Every time I would step a foot in the bed she would start screaming or whining. She did real good today, took plenty of naps, and has been down since eight forty-five. We'll see how long it lasts.

Tomorrow I'm thinking of taking Arabella to meet the Easter Bunny. Lord knows how that will go. I think the characters are neat, however Adam thinks they are creepy. I haven't really done a whole lot for her "first" holidays thus far, so I figure a picture with the bunny is the least I can do.

My name is Bobbi. My husband, Adam, and I have been married since September of 2007. We welcomed our daughter, Arabella, on December 31, 2008 and our son, Evan, on February 2, 2010. I'm a stay at home mommy who loves being able to be there for our children. Adam works for a communication company and has been there for ten years now. We are enjoying our time together and our newly expanded family. Things are hectic but all too fun with our Irish twins! I started the blog to keep everyone up to date with our going-ons and to give me a place to blow off steam from time to time. I hope you come back often an take a peek at the pictures I enjoy sharing.
