Great Night for a Water Fight

After a fabulous night of rice cereal, Gaige stayed the night with us. The boys had some fun on the PS2 playing God of War and some other racing games. But of course, as with all eight-year-olds, that got old quickly. So after getting Bella down for another nap, we busted out the water balloons and water guns.

Gaige bombed our neighbor just as he was wrapping up his lawn maintenance. Bob just had to jump in, you can't get hit by a water balloon from an eight-year-old and walk away. Here is Adam and Gaige with a couple of balloons, notice the ground is dry at this point.

Gaige chasing Adam, after Adam got him with a balloon or five.

Here is a balloon that Bob threw at him, it bounced on the ground and Gaige was able to throw it back.

Gaige was pretty brave...

Then we followed up the water fight with an Adam Sandler movie, Bedtime Stories. Gaige stayed up as long as he could and Bella outlasted him until 1 am. Adam & I finally made it to bed somewhere around 3 am.

Here are our little boogers this morning before Aunt Katie came and picked up Gaige.

About Me

My photo
My name is Bobbi. My husband, Adam, and I have been married since September of 2007. We welcomed our daughter, Arabella, on December 31, 2008 and our son, Evan, on February 2, 2010. I'm a stay at home mommy who loves being able to be there for our children. Adam works for a communication company and has been there for ten years now. We are enjoying our time together and our newly expanded family. Things are hectic but all too fun with our Irish twins! I started the blog to keep everyone up to date with our going-ons and to give me a place to blow off steam from time to time. I hope you come back often an take a peek at the pictures I enjoy sharing.
